Carbon 0.04–0.10% with Ti stabilisationCoarse grain (ASTM No. 7 or coarser) for creepHigher allowable stresses than SS 321 at temperatureCommon in refinery and boiler service

Reactor internals and transition pieces need creep strength and stabilisation; SS 321H plate provides both.

Heavy-section welding should follow the licensor's PWHT and stabilisation requirements.
