Why SS 316L in tubes
Hygienic process systems are orbital-welded from SS 316L tube with polished bores; instrument systems in coastal plants run SS 316L compression-fitting tubing; exchangers use SS 316L where cooling water carries chlorides.
For sanitary systems, ASTM A270 adds surface-finish requirements; specify the bore roughness your standard needs.
