Why this combination
Why SS 304 in fittings
Fittings must match the pipe's grade, schedule and specification family: A312 TP304 pipe pairs with A403 WP304 butt-weld fittings and A182 F304 forged fittings. Mixing grades is a common cause of rejected spools.
A403 fittings are made seamless (WP-S) or welded (WP-W/WX/WU), the suffix showing the weld and its examination. Specify which your piping class allows.
